About us
Motel
Vätterleden is one of the first highwayrestaurants in Sweden.
It opened in 1962 and is still run by the same family. It is not
part of a chain of stores but is totally independent. We have
received *** (3 stars) acc. to SHR:s (Swedens Hotel- and Restaurant
company owners) hotel classification system.

Eating
In our self-service restaurant we
always serve two different "Meal of the day" between 11-15 o'clock.
We also have a vegetarian alternative and in these meals bread and
butter, a salad bufé, drink and coffee are
included.
Why not eat breakfast along the
journey!
The
breakfastbufé is open between 7-10 in the
morning.
À la carte
Of
course, we also have an à la carte-menu with both meat- and
fishalternatives. We are proud of our own schnitzel with smoked ham
and homemade béarnaise. Our salad bufé is abundant and is included
in all meals.

Vätterleden is a roadrestaurant and has
self-service with 250 seats.We have space for an additional 150
persons in our restaurant for reservations, and additionally a
winter garden and outdoor seats.
On
entrance level is our fast food-restaurant in connection to the
store and reception.
There you can find both sweets, papers and tobacco. We have a
good assortment of souvenirs and gifts, and it is here you find the
check-in.

Living
The rooms in our wing are newly renovated with wooden floors and
are of course non-smoking. They are just next to the main building
and you can park right outside the door. By each room there is a
balcony where you can enjoy the view over the lake Vättern.
Furthermore, we have a hotel wing built in 2002 with 10 rooms,
all with a view of the lake.
At an adequate distance from the
highway, embedded between rolling hills and lovely fields is our
holiday village. Here you can spend the night if you have the time
or inclination.

We arrange
konferences, parties as well as serving travelers with food and
lodgings. At the site we have an automated Preem gas
station. The relatively large service store sells anything
from oil for cars to candy an souvenirs. At entrance level you will
find the reception for our 41 rooms as well.

Working
Our conference guests come here with two objectives.To achieve the
results of the work itself and to have a calm and comfortable stay
together. In connection with the conference you can choose between
different activities. Choose among for example:
-Riding Icelandic horses in faboulous
Vättersorroundings
-Golf at the Wiredaholm golf club (we arrange greenfee)
We have an agreement with the Department of
Defence.
