Jönköping & Gränna

At the southern tip of Lake Vättern lie Jönköping and Huskvarna – two cities that have become one. The unique beach promenade Vätterstranden next to Vättern’s clean and clear waters makes Jönköping a real pearl worth seeing. And there are plenty of lakes – together with Rocksjön and Munksjön, a proximity to water is created everywhere in Jönköping. Here you will also find a rich restaurant life with food inspired from all corners of the world.

Gränna is an old idyll beautifully situated on the edge of Lake Vättern. The picturesque community with cobbled streets and old wooden houses is world-renowned for its artisanal polka pigs and is for many a real treat in Sweden. Here you will find the polar explorer André’s museum, cozy cafes, shops and lovely bathing spots. In Gränna you will also find the ferry to Visingsö – a historic place, also worth a visit.
